Veterans Resource Center open
The Jesse Beckius/Casey Owens Veterans Resource Center at 801 Colorado Avenue in Glenwood Springs is again open following an expansion of its offerings and grand reopening ceremony on June 13. From the office, the Western Slope Veterans Coalition (WSVC) provides a hub for information, programs and activities for local veterans. Pruett appointed Garfield County VSO
Garfield County has appointed David Pruett as new veterans’ services officer for a two-year term. An honorably discharged Navy veteran (Navy Special Warfare), Pruett works as an appraiser in his hometown of 步枪 and has volunteered in the past as a firefighter for the 步枪 Fire Protection District, ski patrol at Sunlight Mountain Resort and Garfield County 治安官’s Office Search and Rescue.
